Most waterfall content online is a ranked list of photographs. None of it tells you that the rafting stops in February, or that the pool you came to swim in is closed half the year.
Book the Falls is an index of the world's great waterfalls organised around one question: what can you actually do there, and when. Every destination page carries the same spine — the activities that genuinely operate, the months that matter, how you get in and what it costs, and where to sleep.
How we decide what goes on a page
An activity is only listed for a destination if it runs at or immediately around the falls. Most waterfalls in this index are hiking and photography, and we say so rather than padding the list. Where an operator has shut down — the Victoria Falls skydiving outfit, for instance — we write that plainly instead of leaving a booking link pointing at nothing.
Depth, and the order we're building in
Every destination here has an essentials guide. Victoria Falls has the full treatment: twelve activities with 2026 operator prices, season-by-season openings and closures, both sides of the border, visas, park fees, ten properties and three itineraries. That template is what the rest of the index is being rebuilt into, marquee destinations first.
