Water leaves the flat top of Auyán-tepui and falls so far that much of it atomizes into mist before ever reaching the pool below, a journey longer than the height of most skyscrapers stacked twice over. Only reachable by light aircraft to Canaima and then a dugout canoe up the Río Carrao.
