150 waterfalls around the world are at their best in February.
February is still wet-season across the southern tropics, which puts the big African and South American falls on a rising curve. In the north, frozen falls are at their most reliable — this is peak ice-climbing season — while much of Southeast Asia and Central America sits in the dry season, when the falls are smaller but the roads and trails are easiest.

Dry-season falls in the tropics are lower but clearer and far easier to reach. Wet-season falls are bigger and wetter to stand in front of.
