Wallaman Falls
Australia's tallest permanent single-drop waterfall plunges off the edge of the Girringun rainforest into a deep gorge, reached by a short walk from a lookout or a much steeper trail down to the base pool. It sits within the Wet Tropics of Queensland World Heritage Area.

Wallaman Falls drops 305 metres (1,001 ft) on the Stony Creek, inside Girringun National Park. It is a plunge-type fall, and the nearest base for a visit is Ingham. Access to the main viewpoint is rated easy.
