Twin Falls

Two streams split around a central sandstone pillar and fall together into a sandy-beached gorge, reached via a 4WD track, a creek crossing, and a short boat shuttle rather than any walking trail. Saltwater crocodiles make the plunge pool itself off-limits for swimming, unlike many other Kakadu falls.

Twin Falls drops 150 metres (492 ft) on the Twin Falls Creek, inside Kakadu National Park. It is a segmented-type fall, and the nearest base for a visit is Jabiru, with JAB the closest airport. Access to the main viewpoint is rated hard.
