Caving at waterfalls
Underground rivers, subterranean falls, and passages that go in behind the water.
Some waterfalls run through or behind caves: underground falls reached by guided tours, and caves carved into the cliff behind the water. Caving here is usually guided and needs no experience.
Worth knowing before you book
- Caves are cool and wet year-round; bring a layer.
- Some tours involve tight spaces and ladders.
- Cave tours may close after heavy rain.
Safety
Go only with guides, and follow the lighting and route instructions.
