Canyoning at waterfalls
Abseiling, sliding and jumping down the watercourse itself — the only way to see the inside of many falls.
Canyoning is travelling down a river canyon the way the water does: walking, swimming, sliding down natural chutes, jumping into pools and abseiling beside waterfalls. It is the most immersive way to experience a waterfall, and it is always a guided activity.
Worth knowing before you book
- You will be wet the whole time; wetsuits, helmets and harnesses are supplied.
- Trips are graded; beginner routes need only reasonable fitness and comfort in water.
- Canyons can close at short notice after rain.
