Nuorilang Falls
诺日朗瀑布
Mineral-rich water sheets across a broad, gently sloped travertine shelf inside Jiuzhaigou Valley, one of dozens of waterfalls linking the park chain of impossibly blue and green lakes. The name means "roaring" in Tibetan, though the wide fan-shaped drop is more soothing than thunderous.

Nuorilang Falls drops 25 metres (82 ft) across a face roughly 320 metres wide on the Jiuzhaigou stream, inside Jiuzhaigou Valley National Park. It is a fan-type fall, and the nearest base for a visit is Jiuzhaigou, with JZH the closest airport. Access to the main viewpoint is rated easy.
As a fan waterfall, the flow widens noticeably as it descends while staying on the rock.

A walk-in-and-look waterfall
No commercial adventures run at Nuorilang Falls itself — the experience is the approach and the view. Guided day trips from Jiuzhaigou are the easiest way to combine it with the area around it.
