Jajce Waterfall

Unusually for a waterfall of this size, it drops directly in the center of a historic walled town, at the exact confluence where the Pliva River meets the Vrbas beneath a medieval fortress. Jajce briefly served as the capital of an independent medieval Bosnian kingdom, and the falls sit at the literal heart of that old town.

Jajce Waterfall drops 22 metres (72 ft) on the Pliva. It is a plunge-type fall, and the nearest base for a visit is Jajce, with SJJ the closest airport. Access to the main viewpoint is rated easy.
As a plunge waterfall, water leaves the rock entirely and falls free through the air.
