Langfoss
A series of steep cascades tumbles almost the full height of a mountainside directly into Akrafjorden, visible from a roadside pull-off without any hike required. A small sandy beach and picnic area at the base make it one of the most relaxed fjord-waterfall stops on Norway western coast.

Langfoss drops 612 metres (2,008 ft) on the Langfoss stream. It is a cascade-type fall, and the nearest base for a visit is Etne, with HAU the closest airport. Access to the main viewpoint is rated easy.
As a cascade waterfall, water tumbles down a series of rock steps rather than falling free.
What you can do here
A walk-in-and-look waterfall
No commercial adventures run at Langfoss itself — the experience is the approach and the view. Guided day trips from Etne are the easiest way to combine it with the area around it.
