Venta Rapid. Venta Rapid is a waterfall on the Venta River in Kuldīga, western Latvia. It is the widest waterfall in Europe at 249 metres across, and becomes as wide as 275 metres during spring floods.
Staburags. Staburags or Staburadze was an unusual 18-meter high cliff on the bank of the Daugava River in Latvia shaped and formed by lime-rich springs. According to a legend, it was once a girl in mourning who was petrified.
