Two parallel streams plunge side by side off the edge of the Bolaven Plateau into a jungle-filled crater, viewed from a coffee-shop terrace rather than a hike, since the base itself is inaccessible. Surrounding coffee plantations supply much of southern Laos signature Bolaven-grown arabica.

Tad Fane Falls drops 120 metres (394 ft) on the Huay Bang Lieng, inside Dong Hua Sao National Protected Area. It is a segmented-type fall, and the nearest base for a visit is Paksong, with PKZ the closest airport. Access to the main viewpoint is rated easy.
