Dudhsagar Falls
Named the 'sea of milk' for the white froth it churns up, this four-tiered giant straddles a working railway line, with trains crossing a bridge directly in front of the falls. Access is only by jeep safari or a trek through Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary along the Goa-Karnataka border.

Dudhsagar Falls drops 310 metres (1,017 ft) on the Mandovi, inside Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a tiered-type fall, and the nearest base for a visit is Kulem, with GOI the closest airport. Access to the main viewpoint is rated moderate.
